our MISSION

The purpose of ADIAMA is to contribute to a culture of peace, tolerance and non-violence through art and creativity and also through crosscultural exchanges.
This in order to help children and adults come into touch with their own power and potential, so as to become conscious, responsible and autonomous beings: creators of their own lives.

Luz and Ousmane

ADIAMA has the mission of crystallizing the values of tolerance, respect, receptiveness and dialogue. This non-profit organization is based on the principle of respect for individual convictions and independence from all political parties and religious groups.

The painting, sculpture, music, reading, theater and dance workshops are the opportunity for children and adults to express themselves.
Thus, the inner wounds and violence are transformed, in order to make room for more love and peace.

For Westerners, encountering Africa will help them free themselves from their usual bearings and consider life from a whole new perspective. Often existential questions will arise for them. Artistic activities and, possibly, therapy sessions, will help them find their own answers within.

ADIAMA’s means of action are the following:

  • Help for the creation of art centers and their follow-up. Centers dedicated to underprivileged children and adults throughout the world.
  • The leadership of workshops and internships.
  • The organization of exhibits, conferences, film projections, concerts and shows.
  • Développement de coopérations avec d’autres associations.
  • The widening of cooperation with other associations.
  • Creating art events, gatherings and exchanges.

And more generally, all means available to help increase Adiama’s imprint and influence.

Adiama’s resources consist of:

  • Membership fees.
  • Donations.
  • Subsidies.
  • Fees payed in exchange for services rendered by the association.
  • All other resources, as authorized by the regulatory bodies.
