ACCOMMODATION
For the ADIAMA Association’s members, we offer accommodation in traditional huts, as well as “family” meals in the Outouka Village.

- In a single or double hut (double-bed)
- In a family hut or dormitory (2 double-beds and 2 single-beds)
- In your own tent (during the dry season, from October to June)
The place is supplied with water from a well. To take a shower, you must do as the Africans do: use a bucket !
There is a communal bathroom.

Meals are traditionally prepared by Juliette,
an excellent cook.
Twice a day, we savour hot meals, such as Yassa fish, Mafe, Thie Boudienne…
They are always served with fresh food from the garden and from the local market.

We really want to preserve the African customs
which consist in eating in a shared bowl, while sitting on mats, on the floor.
Breakfast is an important time of day as well: home-made bread is cooked on a wooden fire.
If you prefer, you can eat Western style: on a table!
The area is not supplied with electricity. We spend our evenings under the light of the moon, the stars, candles and oil lamps.
Our rates are low compared to tourist camps’ rates, so that anyone who wants to take part voluntarily in our activities can afford accommodation in the Outouka Village.
